I. Overview:

LW8A-40.5 outdoor high-voltage sulfur hexafluoride circuit is a three-phase AC 50HZ outdoor high-voltage electrical equipment; it is suitable for the control and protection of 40.5kV transmission and distribution system; it can also be used for connecting circuit breakers and switching capacitor banks; and it can be attached with current transformers for measurement and protection.

LW8-40.5 circuit breaker is equipped with CT14 spring operating mechanism. Requirements of National Standard for Breaker Load GB1984-89 "AC High Voltage Circuit Breaker" and IE Publication "High Voltage AC Circuit Breaker".

Type I is a spring mechanism for human energy storage. It is equipped with a manual opening pull ring to realize on-site operation. It is mainly suitable for the control and protection of branch circuit type of 10KV grid on the column. Type II is an electric energy storage spring mechanism, whose opening and closing are controlled by closing and closing coils. At the same time, it is equipped with manual opening and closing pull rings, and the automatic reclosing operation can be realized by configuring the closing controller. It is suitable for medium and small substations for control and protection. Type III is an electromagnetic mechanism.

2. Main characteristics:

It has excellent interruption performance and adopts a pressurized arc extinguishing chamber with short arc ignition time and long electric life. It can interrupt 25 kiloamperes continuously under rated voltage for 20 times without repairing and replacing sulfur hexafluoride gas. It has reliable insulation, high mechanical reliability, strong closing ability and can be operated frequently. It can open and close capacitor banks at 400 amperes without reburning; it can cut long wires at 25, 50 amperes. It has the advantages of simple structure, small volume and long maintenance period.

3. Use of environmental conditions:

Elevation: no more than 2500 meters; plateau type 4000 meters;

Ambient temperature: - 30 + 40 (special requirements - 40 + 40);

Relative humidity: daily average is not more than 95%, monthly average is not more than 90% (25 C);

Wind speed: not more than 35 meters per second; pollution grade III;
